Welcome to the home of Lake Oswego Girls Softball Little League

Announcing new LOGSLL Board of Directors appointments and seeking applications for new board members (please submit no later than October 31st).

Dear LO Softball Families,

We are reaching out to inform you of recent changes to our LOGSLL Board of Directors, and are seeking new members to join our board (see application link above). We remain optimistic about recreational softball returning this spring and are planning accordingly.

Tom Kelley has been elected Board President and James Schaff has been appointed Treasurer. Rich Moehl (prior President), Jaime Komitor (prior Treasurer and past President) and Anne Goodwin (prior Secretary / Registrar / Player Agent) have stepped down and we'd like to give a special thank you to these dedicated individuals who have worked tirelessly for several years to build our strong community program.

To that end, this program thrives on these wonderful volunteers who are essential to providing Little League softball to our youth and we are in need of new members to join our board.

Specifically, we are looking to fill the following roles with passionate individuals who can support all the "behind-the-diamond" initiatives to get a season underway and grow our program:

  • Marketing / Website Manager: If you love to "spread the word" and possess basic web content management / design skills, this role is for you.
  • Player Development: Former/current players or coaches are always needed to help organize and run clinics throughout the winter and spring.
  • Uniform / Merchandise Manager: Our league needs to look good and you can help.
  • Jack / Jill of All Trades: If the above roles don't quite fit your skill set, but you're eager to participate, please don't hesitate to send in an application.

Before registering, please review the League Overview and the Levels of Play pages to determine the best fit for your softball player.  The league suggests that most returning players play at the same level as they registered for in 2020, unless the player developed the skills and/or aged up to participate in the next level.  Read below for important Season Calendar dates.

  • Our league caters to players ages 4 - 14 as of December 31, 2020 (confirm your player's "Little League Age")
  • The league boundaries extend to residents of West Linn and other portions of the Stafford area (see boundary map)
  • As a Little League organization, teams will play other teams in their division within Lake Oswego, as well as an opportunity to play teams from nearby Oregon District 4 Little Leagues
  • Player equipment requirements: glove, bat, batting helmet, Rip-It (face mask), rubber cleats and navy softball pants; batting gloves (optional); jersey and Columbia blue socks will be provided
