Free Pre-Season Training Sessions (sign-up required)

Register here for these free Sunday sessions throughout January and February. Sign up is required so that we can track headcount. 

What: Training sessions based on playing level (see dates & times below). We'll hold batting practice in the LO Junior High varsity hitting barn and throwing/fielding drills on the turf field (weather dependent). Dress warm!

Who: All registered player (must be registered prior to participating) for the Spring 2020 Little League Season are welcome. Please have players bring all necessary gear (bats, helmets, gloves and rip-its), water bottle and dressed appropriately for weather conditions. Tennis shoes and rubber cleats are appropriate for the field and barn.

When: Last clinic February 23 (additional clinics TBD).

  • Session 1: T-Ball, A and AA: 1:30pm - 2:30pm 
  • Session 2: AAA, Majors and Juniors: 2:30pm - 4:00pm 

Where: LO Junior High School @ 2500 Country Club Road | Varsity Turf Field + Hitting Barn (south side of school)  

Cost: This session is FREE OF CHARGE - suggested $5 league donations are appreciated - see SignUpGenius link.

Head + Assistant Coaches: This is a great opportunity to pick up some drills and practice ideas for your teams, we encourage your attendance and participation and ask that you sign up to indicate you can help.

Extra: we are collecting used equipment that your child(ren) have grown out of so that we can host an equipment swap for the league. Please bring your old gear if you have any - bats, gloves, cleats, rip-its, batting gloves, navy blue game pants.


Spring Training Camp (hosted by Lake Oswego High School Softball)

Register here for our 2nd annual LOGSLL Spring Training Camp, hosted by LO High School Softball players and coaches.

What: Join coaches and members of the Lake Oswego High School Softball Team on Saturday, March 14 for a pre-season clinic to improve fielding and hitting fundamentals.

Who: All registered player for the Spring 2020 Little League Season are welcome (space is limited). Please have players bring all necessary gear (bats, helmets, gloves and rip-its), water bottle and dressed appropriately for weather conditions. Tennis shoes or rubber cleats are appropriate for the field and barn.

When: Saturday, March 14

  • Session 1 - T-Ball and A: 10:30am - 12:00pm 
  • Session 2 - AA and AAA: 12:00pm - 2:00pm
  • Session 3 -Majors and Juniors: 2:00pm - 4:00pm 

Where: LO Junior High School @ 2500 Country Club Road | Varsity Turf Field + Hitting Barn (south side of school)  

Cost: $20 per player for T-Ball and A-level; $25 per player for all other levels. Please arrive 20 min early and bring cash, check or Venmo to pay at the door on March 14.

Winter Pitching Lessons - Monday Nights in January + February

Sign up today for private pitching lessons starting January 13th.  

What: Private softball pitching lessons from local pitching coaches Amelia Safley and Kalin Rooney.

Who: Lessons available to all girls interested including beginners, intermediates and advanced (typically girls ages 7-14 planning to play AA, AAA, Majors or Juniors).

When: Monday nights, February 17th and February 24th (remaining dates TBD); Session 1 from 5:00pm - 6:00pm (1/27, 2/10 and 2/17 only), Session 2 from 6:00pm - 7:00pm, Session 3 from 7:00pm - 8:00pm.

Where: Lake Oswego Junior High Batting Barn. The barn is located on the south side of the school down the right field line of the varsity turf field. 2500 Country Club Rd, Lake Oswego, OR 97034.

*NOTE: Please sign up for no more than 4-5 sessions per player to allow as many as possible to participate. If you need to cancel, please change your registration as far in advance as possible and email the league at info@lakeoswegosoftball.org.

Info: Sessions are 1 hour in length, limited to 3 players per session. Girls must have their own catcher with them (parent, sibling or another player). Girls should wear weather appropriate athletic clothing, rip-it/face mask, glove and rubber cleats or athletic shoes.

Cost: 1 hour sessions are $30 per player, payable in person (by cash or Venmo) directly to Coach Amelia and Coach Kalin.
