Spring 2019 registration is now open!

Welcome to Lake Oswego Girls Softball Little League

Following our All-Star Team's District 4 Championship and trip to the Little League Softball World Series last August, we're very excited to carry this momentum into another great season.

Before registering for the 2019 season, please read the below summary of Little League Softball levels of play to determine the best fit for your softball player. If you have any questions, please visit our League Overview page for more detail about skill levels to help you decide the ideal fit for your player. For this season, the league suggests that most returning players play at the same level as they participated during 2018, unless the player has aged up to the next level.

New for 2019 ... we've added a Juniors level for girls ages 13-14 interested in recreation-level play. See below for details.

As players advance through the different levels of softball, the quality of play improves and the level of excitement, intensity, and competition increases. AA is the last level of truly developmental softball, where Managers and Coaches are strongly encouraged to play players at all positions that can be handled safely. At the AAA, Majors and Juniors levels, some Managers and Coaches limit players to a few fielding positions to establish a more regular line-up. The minimum playing requirement for each player is six defensive outs and one at bat per game. All teams bat the roster throughout the game.
